International law governs the international relations of sovereign states. The sources of international law are the conventions and bilateral treaties concluded on the basis of the principles of law and international custom recognized in the international community. There is Public International Law and Private International Law. Public Law is a particular system of law regulating the relations between States, through the international organizations they have created and certain other subjects of Public International Law. Private International Law is a body of legal rules of domestic law, international treaties and legal customs that regulate civil, labour and other relations, consistent with foreign elements.
